Profit Japan Co., Ltd. ("we", "us") handles the personal information of visitors to the BIPAR website (https://bipar.jp/, the "Site") appropriately and in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other applicable laws, as described below. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

2. Information we collect

  • Inquiries (form, phone, fax, etc.): name, email address, phone number, motorcycle model, and the content of your inquiry
  • Buyback appraisal requests: name, email address, phone number, prefecture, item details (maker, quantity, condition), photos of the items, and your message
  • Job applications: name, age, email address, phone number, desired position, information in your résumé and work history, and your message
  • Access information: IP address, browser type, date and time of access, and pages viewed, recorded automatically by our web server

3. How we use it

  • To answer inquiries and provide information on stock and fitment
  • To appraise items, report the results and complete buyback transactions
  • To screen job applicants and contact them
  • To operate the Site securely (including preventing abusive submissions) and improve it
  • To comply with laws, including identity verification and transaction records required under the Secondhand Articles Dealer Act

Application information is used only for recruitment and is deleted or destroyed after an appropriate period once screening is complete.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law; where necessary to protect life, body or property and consent is difficult to obtain; where we need to cooperate with public authorities; or where we entrust processing to a service provider (such as our web hosting company) within the scope needed, under appropriate supervision.

5. Third-party services used on the Site

The Site uses the following services. When they are displayed, their providers may collect information from your device (such as IP address and cookies) under their own privacy policies.

6. Information obtained through Google APIs

The Site uses the Google Business Profile API to retrieve the reviews, ratings and review count of the Google Business Profile (store) that we manage, and displays them on the Site.

  • The API is accessed only with authorization from the Google account that manages our Business Profile. We never collect any Google account information of visitors to the Site.
  • The retrieved data is used solely to display our reviews on the Site, and is never sold, used for advertising or shared with third parties.
  • Credentials are stored on our server so that they cannot be read from outside, and review data is cached only as needed to display it.
  • Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Cookies

The Site itself does not use cookies for analytics or advertising tracking. The third-party services in section 5 may use cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some content (such as maps and videos) may not work properly.

8. Security

We take necessary and appropriate measures, such as access restrictions and encrypted communication (SSL/TLS), to prevent leakage, loss or alteration of personal information.

9. Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

If you request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion or suspension of use of your personal information, we will respond promptly in accordance with the law after verifying your identity. Please contact us below.

10. Online shop and marketplaces

Personal information in transactions on the BIPAR Official Online Store (shop.bipar.jp), Rakuten Ichiba, Yahoo! Shopping, Yahoo! Auctions, Mercari, Rakuma and eBay is handled under the privacy policies and terms of each site.

11. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy in line with changes in laws or the Site. The revised policy takes effect when posted on the Site.
